| I Have Lost Something |

If you have lost something, you should initially search to see if it has been found or handed in to any of our partners. You may also use this site to report lost property to Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, Gwent Police, South Yorkshire Police, Surrey Police, Sussex Police or Wiltshire Constabulary and display it to the public, if you choose. You will be sent an email confirming your report and giving you a reference number. After you have added the details of your property to the system you will be invited to Register an Interest based on the property. An email message will automatically be sent to you if and when an item matching yours is reported to the system as found. Rewards : You may offer a reward for the return of items which have been lost or stolen provided that you do not offer anonymity to the finder as this is illegal and encourages theft. Further details are in "Terms and Conditions". Lost or Stolen? Property which has or may have been stolen can be entered by you on this system. However this does not remove the need to separately report it to the Police where the theft occurred. Minor crimes can be reported through http://www.online.police.uk/. |
